100 Israeli hi-tech startup founders and investors are gathering tonight at the IDC Herzliya at 6:30pm Israel time to showcase and discuss three new startups; SundaySky, FlyScreen and HYPick. A live broadcast of the event will start at 7:00pm Israel time and everyone is welcome to send comments and questions to the presenters via our live chat. The live stream and chat technology are powered by two of our member startups; LiveU and AttracTV. More about them in a future post.

Here’s a brief description of the presenting startups:
SundaySky recently secured $8M Series A funding and is off to the races with their breakthrough video authoring engine that automatically generates professionally produced videos from dynamic content (text, graphics, photos, videos) on web sites. Founder Yaniv Axen will be presenting and we’ll also get Carmel Venture’s Gilad de Vries perspective on the company and space.
FlyScreen plans to spice up your mobile phone’s screensaver with personalized, timely and relevant content from your RSS feeds and social media. Will “zero-click access to the content you use most” get you to install their app on your phone? Yossi Vardi thinks so. Founded in 2007, Itamar Weisbrod and Avi Elias‘s company launched in private alpha on September 8, 2008 at the TechCrunch50.
HYPick‘s Oren Todoros may be the hardest working man in Israeli hi-tech. Besides blogging for TechAviv and SeoVice and being everywhere on and offline social media happens, Oren is taking on mamoth social content pioneer Digg.com by re-writing the rules of user-driven social content aggregation and discovery. Binary up/down votes are out. Conversations are in.
