Alex is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in building companies, products, and teams. He is also an angel investor, advisor to startup companies, and a published author. After heading a computer unit in the Israeli military, Alex started his first company, Elbrus, in 1997. In 2005, he co-founded FoxyTunes, which developed the world’s most popular music browser add-on. After FoxyTunes was acquired by Yahoo! in 2008, Alex spent over four years as Yahoo!’s Head of Media Web Apps, running multiple high-profile projects, products and initiatives. In 2012 Alex co-founded Loop Commerce, where he was Chief Product & Technology Officer. Loop Commerce is disrupting fin-tech, retail and commerce with its patented, award-winning GiftNow® technology and service. Loop Commerce was acquired by Synchrony (SYF) in 2018.
