Hadar Avtalion

Hadar is an angel and mentor to dozens of Israeli startup founders. Most recently she was a member of AWS’ Startup Business Development team, focused on Venture Capital funds and their portfolio companies. As part of that role, she set up and was part of the leadership team of AWS Builder Space, the first and only AWS acceleration program and co-working space for pre-seed and seed stage companies. Prior to AWS Hadar co-founded and managed Cerca Partners, a venture capital co-investment fund ($36M FUM) built around a network of outstanding tech founders & executives, with access to an extensive pool of venture backed start-ups. Selected portfolio companies include: Fiverr (NYSE: FIVRR), Armis (acquired by Insight), Demisto (Acquired by Palo Alto Networks), Ravello (acquired by Oracle), Adallom (acquired by Microsoft), and Alooma (Acquired by Google). Prior to her 4 years at Cerca, Hadar was an investment professional at Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), where she worked intimately with a range of JVP portfolio companies including Cyber Ark (NASDAQ:CYBR) and Cyoptics (Acquired by Avago). Prior to JVP Hadar was an early employee at Wonga in London, where she served as Director of Marketing & Business Development. Hadar holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Economics from Tel-Aviv University.
