Roy Erez

With experience in investing in dozens of startups and co-founding two ventures, Roy now serves as the Founding Partner of R-Squared Ventures, a venture fund guided by a 'founders supporting founders' ethos. Before this role, Roy was the Co-Founder and CEO at Loop Commerce, a company disrupting fintech, retail, and commerce. He started Loop in 2012, raised $30 million from tier-1 industry leaders, scaled it through the acquisition by Synchrony in mid-2018, and continued to run the company as a wholly owned subsidiary as CEO and as a GM and SVP with Synchrony until departing in mid-2020. Roy is passionate about innovation - building and growing great products and businesses. He continues to be engaged in entrepreneurship as an active investor through R-Squared Ventures, a co-founder and board Member, and as an LP and advisor in select funds and companies. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and lives in Silicon Valley, California.
