Tal Cohen

Tal leads the engineering teams for multiple verticals in Google Search. Managing teams in Israel, India, Korea, and the US, Tal has co-led the revolution of providing direct answers to users' needs through Search, starting in 2010, including many features that power Google Assistant answers. Prior to that, was a frontend engineer in Google's ads team, completed a PhD in software engineering at the Technion, and gained his first managerial experience in a startup in the mid-90s.
